We found out that the reel-to-reel tape is an audio recording of a Beatles documentary originally aired on CFTO-TV in the Toronto area, 12 September 1964 at 6PM. Thanks to everyone who helped out ... including John C. Winn, Tony Parsons, Jay Donnelly, and Brad Howard!
Also, according to Tony Parsons (former CFTO anchor), the narrator in the documentary is Barrie Dunsmore. Barrie was an anchor/reporter at CFTO during that time, until he left to join ABC with his long-time friend, Peter Jennings.
